The HealthCraft SuperPole System Provides Stability for Atlanta Residents with Disabilities

The HealthCraft SuperPole System is exactly what you need to stabilize yourself as you get in and out of bed, or mobilize around your bedroom, bathroom or kitchen.  Award winning Health Craft SuperPoles are easily mounted at the bedside, in the kitchen or anywhere an extra bit of support for balance is needed. The HealthCraft SuperPole System stabilizes Atlanta residents with disabilities.

The HealthCraft SuperPole System

The SuperPole System is used to assist with standing, transferring, or moving in bed. It is an award winning modular support system designed for those requiring assistance to get in and out of bed due to a disability, progressive illness, or an accident. It is made up of a stylish floor-to-ceiling grab bar, which can be installed in minutes between a floor and ceiling. It is very easy to install or relocate from room to room as needed.

Quoting the HealthCraft website, “The screw “expands” the pole to create enough tension between the floor and ceiling to hold the pole “rock solid” secure. Rubber pads on the ceiling plate and the floor plate hold pole secure and prevent marring of floor and ceiling, even stipple ceilings.”

Comfortable and attractive, the foam hand grip establishes a safe gripping surface, especially useful for people with limited hand strength. The clean and stylish design will fit in well in any home. The top end mechanism can be custom designed, and angled or sloping ceiling adaptors are available.

The SuperPole also serves as a mounting support for a complete range of optional pieces that can be supplemented to accommodate changing needs, including The SuperBar, SuperTrapeze, SuperTray and Safety Island.

Straight and Curved Stair Lifts
Straight and curved stair lifts are installed to provide residents with mobility from floor to floor within the home; or installed on a stair outdoors to gain access from the outside to the inside of the home. For a three part series on “How to Select a Stair Lift”, click here. Straight and Curved Stair Lifts require the person with the disability to transfer from a wheelchair to the stair lift. If you or your disabled family member are in need of a lift, but cannot transfer to a stair lift, you will require a wheelchair platform lift or inclined platform lift

Inclined and Vertical Platform Lifts
Inclined and vertical platform lifts are utilized to carry an individual in a wheelchair or   scooter from one level of a building to another. If you or your disabled family member are in need of a lift, but cannot transfer to a stair lift, you will require a wheelchair platform lift or inclined platform lift. The inclined platform lift is a wheelchair platform installed on a stair. A platform lift can be installed anywhere inside or outside of a building to lift an individual in a wheelchair up to a higher balcony, platform, porch or deck

How to Select an Atlanta, Lawrenceville or Gwinnett Disability or Handicap Accessibility Home Renovation Company

What makes a good home remodeler for Atlanta, Lawrenceville or Gwinnett disability or handicap accessibility home renovations? The National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) advises to select a home remodeler who has extensive business and management experience; construction and technical expertise; and a reputation for good customer service and interpersonal communication.

The best way to find Atlanta area handicap accessible bathroom and kitchen remodeling companies that meet these criteria, is to contact remodelers and ask the following questions. The answers to these questions will provide much of the information you need to locate a home remodeler for Atlanta, Lawrenceville and Gwinnett disability or handicap accessibility home renovations.

Does the home remodeler have a permanent address and have they been doing business for a long time, under their current name? Do they have experience doing the type of work you are interested in having done, such as stair lift installation, door widening, ramp installation or walk-in tub and roll-in shower installation? Does the remodeler have all of the necessary insurance to conduct business?

Contact Atlanta Home Modifications to set up a free on-site visit at your home to discuss flooring, lighting, electrical HVAC and lighting control solutions, stair lift installation, door widening, ramp installation or walk-in tub and roll-in shower installation for your home. We are an Atlanta based disability and handicap accessibility home renovation company. Contact us by calling 770.880.3405 or visit our Atlanta Home Modifications website.
